I have been working on this for the past few days. The variegated yarn is one of the value balls from Spotlight but the other skein is a marvel yarn. It's been slow going but that is only because I ripped this blanket apart a few times (well just the yarn I was using) before settling on this particular style. Plus I kept making mistakes counting the stitches. It was very frustrating for a while.

WIP - Crochet - C2C Scrapghan
Slowly but surely my scrapghan is growing.
I just hope it is big enough for a lapghan or a baby blanket.
The only thing I am dreading is sewing all of the ends in (o_O)

WIP - Crochet - c2c Heart Squares
I have decided to make another corner to corner blanket. This time it will be with little squares. Some plain and some with hearts in them. I thought it might be a great way to use up some of my smaller yarn scraps. All of those leftovers/scraps from the applique blankets I have made.
I showed Brodie the first square that I made. He promptly turned it over and made fighter pilot noises .. 'pew, pew, pew and said "Look Mum space invaders!"
Yup that's my boy! He's right. It does look like the ship from the Space Invaders game.
**Edit: I don't know what went wrong but I tried making some more squares. I guess I got distracted by the dvd that Brodie and I were watching but I made quite a few mistakes. I may put this in the WIP pile and come back to it another time. I still want to make a few more blankets for the Mums to be at Church. Now to work out what blanket pattern to try instead...

New Book: Corner-to-Corner Lap Throws
I pre-ordered this book back in October. It was meant to be ready for delivery in November.
It finally arrived on Saturday.
I am a little disappointed that there are only 5 designs in the book. I was hoping that there would be a few more patterns. Although, that being said I do like three of the five designs. The one on the cover is a favourite as is the sheep rug and snowman throw.
I guess I know what I shall be making in the near future but it wont be until I have completed another baby blanket that I have already begun.
I purchased the book HERE from Booktopia.

WIP - Crochet - Corner to Corner - Doctor Who Logo
I got side tracked making a couple of baby cocoons and a midwife blanket. I am now back to making more of the Doctor Who c2c squares.
This one is the modern Doctor Who logo. The DW that looks like a TARDIS.
I decided, that with all the craziness and the tangles yarn from the previous Whovian square that I would use these yarn holders that I have had for years but rarely use.
As you can see things still get twisted together but it did make it a little easier.
The pattern, graph really, can be found HERE on the Two Hearts Crochet website.
