E Books via BookBub

I have been using a website called BookBub where you can search for e-books for your kindle from Amazon (Apple, Google and Kobo are available also). They send daily emails with books that you might find interesting depending on the genres you have chosen when you sign up with them.

You won't believe how many books I have snagged this way and the bonus is that a lot of them are freebies. In fact I have so many books to read on my kindle now I don't think I will ever get through them all.

I also use Goodreads to find great books to add to my already large To Read list. If you use Goodreads and wish to add a friend you can find my profile HERE.

This one is a nice cable pattern called Cable Hat by Sarah Arnold.

The one above is a Cabled Ear Warmer by Simone Gattis.

This Snowflake Knit Look Hat is very pretty and is on my every growing to do list.

Crochet Amigurumi Kid Heroes Patterns

A link to these amazing patterns was on my Facebook feed.
The designer is Mary Smith. She totally ROCKS! What an amazingly clever designer!

Super Gal Buddy

There are also patterns for Arachnid Buddy, the Green Buddy & Bat buddy's sidekick.
Check them out HERE on Ravelry.

These are definitely going on my to do list. I have no idea when I will get to them but they look amazing! I can just imagine Brodie wanting Patriotic Buddy and Angus might want Hammer Buddy. Gee Whiz these would make fantastic gifts for kids.

Crochet Symbols and Directions Chart

I follow Moogly on Facebook and I also read their blog posts. I am always amazed at the amount of freebies that they find and share. There really has been some fantastic stuff.

Yesterday Moogly shared a link on Facebook to a freebie Crochet Symbols and Directions Chart from Dabbles and Babbles. It has both UK and US terminology on it. What an awesome find and well worth sharing.

Freebie Ebooks And Other Geeky Stuff

Gee whiz! I've gone and done it again. I thought I had resolved my lack of posting issue but I've had a relapse *hangs head in shame* I totally meant to do a thankful Thursday post last night but I got sidetracked watching TV. What a slacker I am *sigh*

To make up for this horrible lack of posting I thought I would share where I get some fantastic FREE books for my kindle. It's not a secret or anything. I think I mentioned this in a post somewhere before. I collect a lot of freebies from Amazon itself. If you go HERE you can get them yourself. The reason I don't miss out on them is due to Mark. He set up a recipe* over on the If This Then That (IFTTT) website where he gets sent an email when new books are listed on the free Amazon list. This email then gets forwarded to me.

Recipes from IFTTT are super easy to set up in fact some are already made up. For example there are ones for instagram, alerts for free itunes stuff etc. All you need to do is add them to your own personal collection. I'm off to check out some more recipes right now.

* recipe - it's kind of like a rule that you set up for sorting your emails etc. It basically sets up a series of actions based on 'ingredients' you've told it to keep an eye out for. Click HERE to find out more.

Listerine mouth wash
It's for Australian residents only but it's worth checking out.

Pinch Me Freebies

I got my first free sample from Pinch Me today. It's an Aussie website where you can sign up and they will send out free samples to you and you get to leave feedback about the products. Who doesn't love a freebie?
I can't wait to try out my new shampoo. As soon as I opened the box it smelled amazing.
