Kitty Cat Play Fighting

I love how my cats get along so well with one another. I caught them play fighting. Not bad considering Missy Issy is almost 18 months but C.K. is around 11 years old.

C.K. quite often starts the play but Issy usually finishes it. She will stick her paw in his face as if to say "Talk to the Paw, I am not listening". She will also do this when she isn't in the mood to play as well. As I said C.K. starts it most of the time.
I am just glad they get on so well.

C.K. Gave Me A Present

Darn it C.K. I don't know what is more annoying. You catching a mouse and bringing it indoors to play with it or the fact that you have lost it inside somewhere??

Thankful Thursday

Here's what I am thankful for this week:

• sunshine - it helps keep the winter blues away
• the postie - bringing all sorts of wonderful things to our home, other than bills that is
• crocheting - it's kept me busy (and sane)
• pinterest - I've wasted lots of time found lots of great ideas on lots of interesting boards and saved them to my boards.

Weird Kitty

There's a standing joke at our place about how well the cats would feed us if we had to eat them as dim sims (dim sims are an Aussie invention based on Chinese dumplings) or as a meal in general. Sad I know but it's just in fun. We would never EVER under any circumstances hurt our cats. We just love them way too much for that.

Our cats are such fuss pots when it comes to eating that I feel they eat better than we do most days. C.K. has developed an unusual taste for soy sauce. When Mark has noodles and takes the bowl to the shed he often leaves the bowl on the desk when he's finished. C.K. has decided that he is going to lick the bowl. My guess is he is self-marinating. Yep I know roll your eyes but you have to see the funny side of things, right?

My FurBabies

It's been a while since I showed off my furbabies. I was going through some photos on my camera and I just had to share them. I mean these cats are just so adorable how could I keep the photos to myself :D

Trip - is Mr. Grumpy! He has a total dislike for Rory & refuses to be around him.

I caught Rory & CK asleep on the bed. I swear it looks like Rory is smiling!

My Two Gingernuts

My two Gingernuts look so cute together. They are finally getting along nicely. Sometimes they even sleep together on the bed.

All I need now is for our three-legged boy, Trip, to finally accept Rory and things will be better. Trip is such a nasty, hissy thing right now. He wont even stay indoors if he sees the kitten (o_0) Trip only wants in for a feed then tries to get outside again. I think of Trip as a grumpy old man (he's just turned 10 yo)

Does anyone have any tips on how to get the cats to at least stay in the same room?

Look who was asleep on my bed under the covers! It's the ginger snap, C.K.! I don't mind him sleeping on the bed but he is a bed hog! He takes up so much room on the bed that there is hardly any room left for his humans! Not to mention when its cold he try to sneak under ALL the covers. He wont try that with me as he knows I will throw take him out of the bed and put him on the covers but he does that with Mark. He will head butt him until he lifts the quilt up for him. Mark is such a softie!

Yarn Capers

I had such a good laugh last night. My ginger kitty, C.K., got tangled in my yarn. He started running down the other end of the house with the yarn firmly tucked around his chest. My crochet went flying, the hook ended up on the other side of the room & the ball was rapidly unravelling as he ran. I wish I had taken a photo of him but it all happened so quickly. Angus chased him (which probably didn't help) but he did manage to rescue the yarn before C.K. made it out of the laundry window (which we keep it open so that he can go in & out as he pleases).
I don't think C.K. was too happy but I sure had a giggle.

I wish I was one of my cats. They get to chill out and relax ALL day long! They live such a hard life!

Angus & C.K. asleep (or half asleep) on the naughty couch! If you are wondering why we call it the naughty couch, its because when you lie down on it or sit on it for too long you end up falling asleep no matter how hard you try and resist it!
