Ta Da I have now finished the bably blanket. I did manage to run out of the yarn I was using and I decided to put a larger border on it. I used white though & I don't feel that it looks quite right. I didn't wish to pull it apart after the amount of time it took to make it.
Thank you Poetess for telling me what the name of the crochet stitch was for this blanket. On the pattern I have (from Just Crochet) it was just called a bobble.
I'm off to hunt through ravelry for some more patterns. I was hoping to make up a pretty little baby dress. I know the style I would like I just hope that I can find a pattern.

It's so cute, Jo!! And I didn't know you were questioning the name of the stitch.Happy to be of service...any time! ^_^ Just so you know, different crocheters do that with a lot of stitches! It's the same stitch, just called by a different name. If it's in a pattern, you just have to work it and find out!...You're bringing back my memories of crocheting baby blankets though. I used to sell them in my shop when I was newly opened. I loved making baby blankets! They sold very easily too. But I didn't wanna have to do all of the testing and labeling just to sell clothes for children under twelve...Anyway, your blanket is very cute! Keep up the good work. :-)
Poetess, thank you. I am sure that you would've made some wonderful baby blankets too :)
The blanket turned out great!
Thank you WildflowerWool :)
I think I love your baby blankets most. They always look so soft and warm.
Thank you Beverly :)
