Day Light Savings
We started daylight savings yesterday. It has thrown my whole system out of whack! Not only am I sleeping in really late due to the time change (thank goodness it is still school holidays) I was unable to get to sleep before 1 am. It feels like I have lost most of the day already by the time I finally get out of bed. I'm crossing my fingers and am hoping that I will be getting used to it when school starts back next week.
What do you think of the flower above? I have no idea what plant it is but it flowers every spring. Sadly the flowers don't last very long but they sure are pretty while they are in bloom.

I've been feeling the same way about the time change around here! We haven't officially had the change yet. It' sometime around the last weekend of October here. By then we'll be completely in the dark!!! LOL
Oh Yeah!...I found out what your flower is, I think. It's called a Purple Rock Rose! Here's the link -->

Poetess, I would rather be in the dark. Putting the clocks forward means we are one step closer to summer & that is not my most favourite time of the year. It can get far too hot for my liking :-/
Thank you so much for finding out what that flower/plant is. The plant in the link you provided is exactly like the plant here. It feels good to be able to name it :)
