I know I say this a lot but another week has flown by so quickly. Have you noticed how time flies as you get older? Maybe its just me but it does seem to go faster these days. Or it could just be that I have been busy doing things.
Here's what I am thankful for this week:
- For the lovely nurse who took all that blood from me yesterday and was very good at her job. She didn't have to poke around too much although I did feel like a pincushion by the time she had finished.
- For my lovely Wuglyee scarf that helps keep me warm on these cold winter days.
- For the heater, which is getting a jolly good work out at the moment, and its keeping us all nice & warm.
- For our cats who are very snuggly at the moment and how they make my lap nice and toasty.
- For finding out that I my niece is having a little girl & feeling very fortunate that I was already making stuff in girly colours :)

I'm thankful that I was able to keep smiling even when the car broke down with twins in the back seat on a hot night and no triple aaa membership. :) Sometimes all you can do is smile.
Congrats to your niece.

Thank you Reluctant Writer, and its good that you can keep smiling when something like that happens.
Awwwww! You're getting such good wear out of your 'Wuglyee'! That makes me so happy...and thankful that you let me know!! :-) I wish I could say I was thankful for the heat, but alas...NO! LOL It's bringing hail and humidity and lightening and scariness after the Tornado that touched down here last week! 0_O But I 'can' say this morning, that I'm thankful that another tornado wasn't spawned this time. {Tomorrow we go another turn!}...I'm still sending good thoughts for Friday's diagnosis. I'm hoping 'Thankfulness' will include that news next week!
Golly Poetess, I am thankful that you didn't have another tornado in your area again. I'll cross my fingers & toes that you remain tornado free and that the weather settles down for you.
I find out in about 15 hours or so what the test results are. I am hoping that its negative too & I know I will be extremely thankful for that.
I'm thankful for air conditioning--it's like 95 here! Your thankfulness for a heater gave me quite a start for a moment.
Sorry Beverly but its winter here :) Snow season officially starts this weekend (not that I will see any of it though)
I hope you manage to stay cool
