Finished Item - Crochet - Teddy Bear(s)

Two almost identical teddy bears complete.
The one on the right was the one I just completed.

I will take them with me to the knit and natter group next time I go so they can be places in the boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

WIP - Crochet - Grey Teddy Bear

Since I began taking my new medication (methotrexate) for my psoriasis at the end of July I haven't really been feeling up to crocheting much. I have however, managed to make the pieces for a crocheted teddy bear. The only problem is that when it was time to sewing it all together I was feeling rather tired (one of the symptoms of the new meds I'm afraid).

Anyway, here's what I have managed to complete so far. Perhaps today I shall manage to finish sewing on the arms, legs and ears.

Finished Item - Crochet - Toy Bear

My bear looks a little lopsided but I think this adds to the charm, right?

I made this using the Penny the Panda pattern from Lion Brand.

I didn't make the panda as you can see. I wanted to use up some of the scrap yarn I had instead.

I shall be adding this panda to the duck I made the other week. It will be added to Operation Christmas Child boxes that the Knit & Natter group are doing. Well technically it's not the group but the Church the other ladies belong to.

These are definitely going on my to do list. I have no idea when I will get to them but they look amazing! I can just imagine Brodie wanting Patriotic Buddy and Angus might want Hammer Buddy. Gee Whiz these would make fantastic gifts for kids.
