This is the final lot of the photos Brodie took from his new digital SLR. He has taken more and is very proud of them. I've scaled these down so that they don't take so long to load but I have added some of his originals to my wall paper folder. After all of these flowers do look very pretty (~_~)

Brodie's Photos Part 1

Brodie is a budding photographer. Mark has given Brodie a digital SLR camera. So of course Brodie has been very excited and walked around town, the yard and the house taking photographs of anything that has taken his fancy. He wanted me to share some of his favourite photos that he took on Sunday. There are a lot of them so I will spread it over a few posts so I don't swamp you and make the page/post take forever to load.

Playing Photographer

I was playing around with the camera on my phone the other night. Taking snaps of the boys.

I think the photos turned out pretty good. Although I do know that Angus, who is like me, hates having his picture taken. Just as well the flash never went off for most of these pics or he would've been Mr. Grumpy!

My Photographer

Mark has a new Digital SLR camera. He's written about it on his blog. Mark has all sorts of fancy lenses & things to go with the camera. He did tell me but my mind didn't seem to be able to hand on to all the details (o_0)

I have no idea what the plants are that have been photographed. All I know is that they're flowers and they look pretty :D

My New Camera

As I mentioned in yesterday's post my camera died. Well not so much as died but was making 'those' kind of noises that things make as they die. With the lens error that kept popping up on the screen every time I turned it on, combined with the noises and it promptly shutting down meant that I was not going to get any more use of of my old Pentax.

Mark, Brodie & I went out shopping this afternoon in the hopes of finding a new camera. Well it started off as window shopping but I couldn't pass up this deal. I ended up with a Samsung ES30. It's not a bad little camera. You even get to choose the amount of mega pixels you wish to use (up to 12.2) and it also had video option. Not bad for less than $100AU.
I am going to have fun with my new toy. I chose pink as you can see from the pictures. Hopefully that means that the boys wont want to use my camera as often :P
