ANZAC Day 2015 - 100th Anniversary

Today marks the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing in 2015. Where the Australian and New Zealand troops fought against the Turks. The ANZACs had no idea what they were getting in to.

It is a significant day in our history.Today, ANZAC Day is a day where we remember the fallen soldiers and those that have served not just in World War I but from all armed conflicts and peace keeping operations. Thank you to all who served and are still in the services. Your hard work and dedication is appreciated.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grown old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
 we will remember them.

Lest we forget

At our local dawn service with Brodie

The new memorial.

Brodie just laid a poppy down for me.
