Here's what I am thankful for this week:
- going on a 'date' with Angus. It was nice spending some time with him.
- being told by the Practice Nurse that I have made a good start to looking after my diabetes already.
- for Brodie being able to go to Lincoln St respite this weekend. Just when I thought that our respite access would be more limited now that Interchange has finished
- that Brodie has some wonderful memories to cherish from his time with Interchange
- for finishing my entrelac table runner and being able to start a new one as a baby blanket (I really am hooked on this style of crochet)
- for being able to get an appointment with the Dietitian much faster than is 'normal' & for a short waiting list to see a diabetes educator too (I am sure that we are being smiled upon this week)

WOW! You really had a lot of nice things to be thankful for this week!...I did too! I'm thankful for the ability to appreciate all styles and kinds of music; for a husband who is 'in it' with me, come rain or come shine; for hummingbirds that keep coming even though the ants try to deter them; and for my dad who, although he's been in tremendous pain this past week, goes out of his way to say things that are funny and loving in order to make us feel okay with how things are going with him...We're not okay with it, but the fact that he's trying makes me very happy...and thankful.
Poetess, its good that you have a lot to be thankful for too, even those pesky ants. Sorry about your Dad. I do hope that he starts to feel better soon.
