I got a phone call this morning from a lady in the Latrobe Valley in regards to getting some respite for Brodie (and us). She was just finishing off some work from an overnight stay at the home and was doing some admin work before signing off for the day. Anyway I now have an appointment to see her on Wednesday at the home to check things out and do some paper work if I like the place.
Let's face it, there aren't many places where we can get respite for Brodie and we would be silly to knock back any opportunity that we might get for a break.
The respite place is in the same town as our Church chapel. We know quite a few people that live in the town because of Church. It makes me wonder Brodie will do if something happens at respite that he doesn't like considering he has a few friends from Church in town. I know I shouldn't think of anything negative but it does make me wonder what he might do.
I'm crossing my fingers that it is something that will suit us quite well. I only have to wait a couple of days to find out.
