Angus finally remembered that it was my birthday today and as soon as he got in the car he wished me a Happy Birthday and was so sorry that he didn't remember this morning. He was so sweet and sincere. He even said that people cannot take the love away that you have because you are such a nice person on the inside. How adorable is that?!?!!
Brodie on the other hand got into the car and yelled at me telling me that we are not allowed to take Nick home any more. To which I told him off and made him unlock the door that he just locked. I then told him in no uncertain terms that I did not appreciate this behaviour today of all days. Then he barked at Nick when he got in the car saying that it was Mum's birthday and not to start anything. On the way back into town I told Brodie that I am the adult, it's MY car and I will take whomever I want to and from the bus stop & that he just had to learn to deal with it.
I swear I am so fed up with that child. Grrrrr!!!
Before I forget I got a lovely phone call from Mish this afternoon. It was so good to hear from her! We didn't have all that much luck with the phone though as the mobile kept cutting out! I'm just grateful that she phoned. I love MY Mish!!
We had our neighbour over for dinner tonight too. I loved the home made burittos that we had. They were yummy and so was the chocolate mud cake! Angus & I chose well with the cake!! Delicious!
