I am so pleased with what I have done this morning with my applique. I finally got the sewing machine out and joined the squares together. I made a boo boo with lining them up on one side but that's okay. I can handle that. Plus it's my first time sewing in about 10 years. So I will proudly show them off mistakes and all.
These pics are of everything I have completed so far. I reckon it looks good but it will look better when I have completed the whole thing.
I've already chosen what I want to do for my next project with help from Diva as this is for her. It's called the Bush Stars, and I bought the material yesterday in preparation for it. I got it from Spotlight during their 20% off sale. I love shopping there. I could spend ALL day there only trouble is I can't but everything I want, oh well. All I need to do now is to get the pattern. I'm hoping that maybe one of the sisters from Church has it. If not I can go and buy the pattern I want from millamac. Hmm I just checked out their site. I think I have found a better pattern to follow. I think I might just buy it. It will be a really good surprise for Diva if I do this one instead.
I think I have the sewing bug. I want to do more sewing but I have nothing I can sew yet. Oh well guess I need to find some then rofl
