Shopping!

Ok how come every time I go shopping for fun I NEVER end up with anything for myself?? It doesn't seem right.

We initially went into Fountaingate Shopping Centre at Narre so that we could put in my conveyance cheque I got from the Primary school because that is the closest facility which has my bank. I managed to get a couple of bargains for the boys; they both ended up with new jackets/coats from Dimmeys. I went in there looking for a dressing gown for the big fella because he desperately needs one. I wasn't able to find one but I think he was happy with his jacket.
I finally went into BigW my all time favourite discount store to look for some wool so I could make the big fella and Mark vests for Church. They weren't interested in jumpers but that's okay because vests wont take as long to make. I was so disappointed when I went to where they keep the wool. They had hardly any colours at all and what they did have weren't the colours that either Mark nor the big fella would wear.

After we went to Cranbourne so that we could go to Harris Scarfe (another favourite store) to look at sleeping bags and possibly getting a dressing gown but guess what!! They didn't have the sleeping bags on the floor stock, at least not the ones they had advertised on sale. Would you also believe that they didn't have ANY dressing gowns either. Yet another disappointment. Although I managed to pick up a nice white short sleeved shirt for the big fella for church so it wasn't a total waste of travelling.

I wont give up looking for a dressing gown for the big fella but I was certainly disappointed that I couldn't find what I was looking for. And I can't believe that I did NOT get anything for myself but to be honest I quite often miss out. It doesn't seem fair at times.
