Holidays Are Almost Over

Okay I've made it to the last weekend of the school holidays. Surprisingly they haven't been as bad as they could've been. Usually by the end of the second week I am pulling my hair out wishing for the holidays to end and for the boys to go back to school.

Yesterday we went into town to see a movie, RV, only to find out that they had changed the times that the movie was on. So we went in again this afternoon to see it. It's not a bad movie. It wasn't as funny as I was hoping it would be but it was a good family movie. I know the boys laughed quite a bit so it must've been good.

I really don't have all that much to say at the moment. Other than we've finally got our first appointment for the big fella with GCAMHS. I'm not too sure what they've got in mind but they will need to assess the big fella before they start any kind of programme for him.
Did I mention that I also got an appointment for the big fella to be assessed by a psychologist for Aspergers? It better be worth it because its going to cost $520 for a little over 3 hours of the psychologists time. I'm thinking what happens if he doesn't have Aspergers Syndrome? I know in my mind he fits the criteria because he has several of the characteristics consistent with people with AS. I suppose it doesn't really matter if he doesn't but if he does there are many more avenues opened up for us. We'll just have to wait until next Thursday to find out.
