He Broke The Window!

I've had it!! I don't know how much more I can take! Why did I even have children if they are going to cause me such grief! The big fella in his smart alecky mood just smashed the glass in the front door!! He decided it would be cool to throw something out the door while he had parked his butt on the couch. I don't even know what he threw but I heard a crack. Then Angus said the window had cracked.

Okay the dust has settled now ... I've calmed down loads. It's about an hour later now. We found out that it was the ball bearing out of a mouse. It's pretty solid too. No wonder I could hear it when it hit the glass. The big fella now realises that he will NOT be getting ANY special treats. He's definitely blown that. He also knows that he will be working off his debt! In fact he's helping cook dinner.

We still have to work out how we're going to replace the glass & how we are going to pay for it. We cannot leave it too long though. It is in the front door after all. Winter is coming up and there is no way I want to leave it .. especially after the last time when one of our neighbours kids, Steven, threw stones at our cabin and the landlord was going to organise the replacement when the bottom panel of the front door was broken. It took almost 18 months to be done ... through two winters! So I definitely need to get it done before winter really hits us.
