Things I am thankful for this week
- that there have been some happy endings for some of the victims of the earthquake in Christchurch NZ. My heart goes out to all those affected.
- that my family is safe & nearby
- that the boys had fun at their schools swimming sports carnivals this week
- that Angus is able to go have a sleepover at a friends place tomorrow night. He is so excited.

I am thankful for the quick response of kind hearted people after the earthquake in New Zealand.
Thankful for doctors who tell it like it is, scaring the pants off my hubby, but then using soft words of encouragement so that he'd have a goal to work toward.
Thankful for good friends who will try anything...especially recipes...as long as you're beside them.
And thankful for only short snippets of bad memories and the ability to write about it and move on.
(Kinda deep, but true)
