Things I am thankful for
- my hairdresser, for helping me look nice with a new haircut
- having friends that send me emails that make me laugh until I cry
- the rain that helps make things grow
- the sunshine
- my phone which I am able to use to speak with my Dad, who lives 800km (500 miles) away
- Dad being able to see Melody, his granddaughter, whom he hasn't seen since she was a toddler (she's 10 now)

A new haircut, huh?! Are we going to get to see it?! :-)...This week I'm thankful for a lot of things: the ability to put my feelings into words, the love of the only dad I've known all my life (his face lights up when he sees me and I can hear his face smile when he hears my voice on the phone!), and custom orders from people who love my work and can't wait to have something I've made just for them! It feels kinda nice being loved in all these different ways. :-]
You have lots of great reasons to be thankful for Poetess. It must be wonderful knowing that you're so loved by your dad. I can just imagine how good it makes you feel to know how happy he is to hear from you.
