Easter Love

On Easter we celebrate love,

love coming down from heaven,

love blanketing the earth

in a transforming embrace;

unique and infinite love,

giving more than we can imagine

for us, to cleanse our sin,

a perfect sacrifice, Lamb of God,

the walking, talking Word.

He is teacher, role model, friend,

this God in human form,

dying, then rising from the dead,

proving all who believe

will also rise

to have eternal life, with Him,

Lord of all.

Easter Break

Easter was quite uneventful other than the boys arguing every day. Not that uneventful is a bad thing considering all that our family goes through normally. I could just cope with the arguing too but I certainly don't want that to continue for the rest of the school holidays. There are only so many arguments over the TV or the play station that you can take. I even threatened them that I would take the play station to our next door neighbours and gosh would you believe that this threat worked!! Our neighbour thought it was a brilliant idea because it means he will be able to play the games at his place.

Dad phoned last night and was surprised when I told him that the boys are on holidays for the next couple of weeks. The kids in South Australia don't start for a couple of weeks yet. He did mention that he thinks they go back on Wednesday but to honest I think they go back today. Not that it matters really.

The boys and I have been watching a fair bit of Stargate SG1 these past few days. Mostly season 10. I've not seen all the episodes yet and sometimes I feel like banging the kids heads together when they start yapping part way through an episode I've not seen. Oh I know that I could always watch it when they're in bed or something but that's beside the point.
