I'm Turning Into a Girly Girl

For years I have been for lack of a better term a plain Jane.
I never really dressed up and I rarely, if ever, wore any make up.

Over the past few months I have been wearing make up and I feel very nice while wearing it. Usually it's only on Sundays and perhaps on the very rare occasion when I am going out somewhere special.

The local Farmers Market was on this weekend (yesterday to be exact) and I was looking at one of the stalls that sold some very pretty jewellery. I was looking at these two necklaces thinking will I wear them? And if I did, what one would I choose. I asked the boys which one looked nicer. Brodz said the one on the left looked pretty and Angus said the one on the right (in the photo above).
A lady walking past, just at the right time, said why not get both so I did.

Looks like I will be getting a little more dressed up when I go out. I haven't really done this since before the boys were born.

I only have one complaint about being a 'girly girl' and that is it takes me a lot longer to get ready but as I often say to the boys. It takes time to look and stay this amazing (~_o)

It's kinda fun being a 'girly girl'! I do it all the time! ^_^ Wait until you start contemplating fingernail polishes, manicures, and hair salons!! LOL

Poetess, it's funny that you mentioned the fingernail polish. I have been contemplating painting mine for the past two weeks or so. I just haven't gotten around to it. I was worried it would take away from my crocheting time (~_o)
