Finished Item ~ Kindle Cover & Flower Brooch

I finished my kindle cover on Friday afternoon. It doesn't look to bad does it? 

I think the flower totally sets it off but I am biased (~_o)

I had just enough of the pink yarn left over to make myself a brooch. 

I love the look of this flower very much. I think if I need to add some sort of flourish to an item I might use this particular style. There's something about it that says look at me I'm pretty. But then again that could just be me.
