Here's what I have been working on recently.
I noticed that using 2 different ply yarn & the same size hook can make a big difference in the sizes. The white item is 4 ply and the pink is 3 ply. The pink one seems a lot smaller.
Back to finishing the cardi (-_-)
Very pretty! :-) ... And yes, different plys can make a BIG difference. That's why you have to check your gauge with whatever yarn, thread, and hook yo use...depending on the project...Even my flowers are all kinds of sizes! ^_^
Thanks Poetess. Oops I knew I forgot something... checking the gauge isn't something I normally do. It's a good thing that these little items are cardigans for premmie babies. I am sure that there will be a baby somewhere that it will fit.
