I often wonder why kids leave things to the very last minute before they tell you they need something for school. Whether its money for excursions, forms to be signed, clean uniform to wear or that their clothes just need mending.
Do the boys like seeing their Mum getting frustrated because we have just had two weeks at home & they've left things until the night before school goes back?
I doubt they think that way. I know they don't annoy me on purpose it just feels that way sometimes. I guess I really should be asking them the week before the holidays are over. Maybe I will learn that before the start of the next school year.
Are you a super organised person and get everything over and done with early? Do you have any tips for me? At this point I am willing to try anything that will make my life easier :D

Sorry, I can't help you. I'm a procrastinator through and through. And no matter how many times I think I've learned my lesson, I still leave things till the last minute. It always seems like I have more time than I do.
My daughter on the other hand is a planner and has lots of things going on at once--and always manages to get things done on time, if not ahead of.
Beverly, I wish I was more like your daughter :)
Hmmmm...maybe it's just me, but it doesn't appear to me that 'YOU' are the one with the problem! I'd say...if they wait too long, that must mean they can do it themselves! ^_^
Poetess, I never thought of it that way. Perhaps the boys really do want to do things for themselves :D
