Creative Knitting

I bought a knitting magazine the other day called Creative Knitting. Well two actually. It was one of those special deals where you got two books for the price of one. Any way I have never come across this particular magazine before. I guess I must have had my head stuck in the sand or something but I really like them :)

They have some really nice patterns in them. Some that I may even consider making for myself (one day).

How cute is this?
The photo below is my latest WIP. It's a super cute little baby cardigan. I know I should probably stop making baby stuff but they are really fast to make and I like having something made up reasonably quickly. Projects that take a while just aren't inspiring me these days. So for now its more baby items. I can always pass them on to my niece, Allie. Her baby is due at the end of this month.

This pattern is really cute & looks great so far.

I think I have some books like this one. I'll have to look and see. My problem with book patterns these days is that the items are all copyrighted! If I crochet or knit them I can't sell them in my shop. So I stick to my own patterns, or to patterns of things I'm allowed to sell. I don't need anymore unused crochet items hanging around here!! LOL By the way, I love the new cardigan. I love the design.

Poetess, I never thought about the copyright of items and being unable to sell them. That's kind of a shame really. Although I do recall reading on some patterns that the creator doesn't mind you selling items made from their work just as long as the money is used to replenish your stash and not for profit.
Thanks for the kind words about the new cardigan :)
