My local Woolworths supermarket has a brand new type of broccoli for sale ....
what do you think is it worth buying?

I also managed to pick up some yummy pork chops :D
Poetess mentioned that she had some for dinner the other night and I realised that it had been such a long time since we had eaten chops (Brodie has sensory thing about food containing bones so we usually avoid them, its an Aspie thing). I just had to get some. We might have them Friday night because tonight & tomorrow nights menus were already planned.

Ha! Ha! Ha! It must have been 3 a.m. when that person was putting up the signs on the produce!! ^_^ Or else they REALLY don't eat vegetables!!!...By the way, enjoy your pork chops! Mine were delicious. No bones either! They were center cuts. :-)
somebody must have been smoking something before they labeled those lol
Poetess, I was thinking perhaps it was a younger person placing the labels by the produce. Someone who has no idea what broccoli really looks like :)
Blueyes, anything is possible in this day & age!
Ahahah this is so funny :) How cute!
I ate pork chops for the first time, about 6 months ago. My mother had a thing about pork and didn't cook it - except for the normal ham and bacon. I was amazed!! My husband batted and fried them - kinda like fried chicken - and it was AH-SOME!!
Donna, I haven't cooked them yet. Stuck them in the freezer for now but I am looking forward to eating them. We're kind of like your Mum, we've had plenty of bacon & ham but not a lot of pork. Sadly, it costs too much to have all the time.
