Meet Me On Monday

hosted by Java from Never Growing Old

Questions:

1. What is your favorite bagel flavor?
2. If you had an extra $100 right now, what would you spend it on?
3. What is the last thing that you felt guilt about doing?
4. Soft serve ice cream or hand dipped?
5. Are you allergic to anything?

---------------------------------------------------------------

My Answers!

1. What is your favorite bagel flavor?
We don't have bagels where I live. So I can't say that I have a favourite. In fact I don't even recall every trying one either.

2. If you had an extra $100 right now, what would you spend it on?
Yarn, knitting and crochet patterns. What can I say I am addicted to the stuff :)

3. What is the last thing that you felt guilt about doing?
Telling Angus off the other day. I felt bad about it afterwards. I can't even remember what it was for. I just know I felt bad and I am sure he did too :(

4. Soft serve ice cream or hand dipped?
Both. Call me greedy :P I really like butterscotch or liquorice or spearmint choc chip or caramel or ... okay I like just about all of them.

5. Are you allergic to anything?
Yes I am. Apart from housework I am allergic to penicillin.

The reason why I probably don't eat bagels is that it's not common in my place. :) Good to know I'm not the only one who doesn't eat it!haha :-)

Simonette, they certainly aren't commonplace around here :)

Hi Emily, which part the housework or the penicillin? :D I'm thinking housework lol

mmmmm Butterscotch Ice cream :) I may have to have desert tonight after tea.

Vicky, even though I love butterscotch I only have plain old vanilla in the freezer. I just might have to buy some. That new Hokey Pokey one they have been showing on TV looks good.

YOU LIVE IN A WORLD WITHOUT BAGELS?

I am so sorry.

I'm going to go cry for you now.

I don't blog hop, but I do enjoy getting to know you better every Monday! :-) But for your blog I like to answer the questions...Only for you! LOL
1. What is your favorite bagel flavor? I love Cinnamon Raisin bagels! YUMMMMMMMM!! Of course, I love a lot of others too, but given a choice this would be my "go to".
2. If you had an extra $100 right now, what would you spend it on? Probably stationary or cards or something. I don't need any more yarn! I've got enough around here now to start my own store!! LOL
3. What is the last thing that you felt guilt about doing? I said a really bad word to hubby in a fit of anger. I never curse or swear, so it was a BIG deal for me. I felt awful. NO MORE!!
4. Soft serve ice cream or hand dipped? Hand-dipped, soft serve, hard-packed, every flavor imaginable, with every topping imaginable, in a cup, or in a bowl, no matter how...it's never old! :-)
5. Are you allergic to anything? It would have been easier to answer what I'm NOT allergic too!!!...Penicillin is on my list too!

Have a good day!...Eat some ice cream! :-]

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. I hope you have a great week, too!

I love all kinds of ice cream, too. We usually always have some kind in the freezer. Butterscotch sounds delicious!

I'll probably get some flack for saying this, but you haven't missed anything by not eating a bagel. They are tough and chewy--and not sweet--so not worth the trouble. Love that you are allergic to housework--I think I'm developing that allergy as well. The computer is much more fun! And your choice of how to spend extra $$ was no surprise at all!!

lol thank you Emily

Thank you Poetess, I love reading your answers too. I know what you mean about having lots of yarn but I would still love to get more :D I'm with you on the ice cream, yum!

Thanks for the visit Karen :)

Beverly, thanks for letting me know what a bagel is like. It sounds like its a good thing I haven't tried one before. Golly I must be very predictable with my yarn addiction because I know Mark & the boys would say that it would be the first thing I would purchase given half the chance :D but to have others not be surprised, well its not a bad thing is it? lol

What Emily said....A world without Bagels? It is the top of the Carbohydrate food chain, the Pharoh of flour, the real 'Big O" (and they keep well in the freezer)...oh dear.

I'll have to put this on the list of reasons not to go to Oz, right after spiders and box jelly fish. Hmmm, reasons to go are still winning by a long shot.

Happy Victoria Day...or don't you have that either?

You do know this is all in good fun...hope its a good day there.

Hi, it's Just One Donna. Thanks for visiting my blog for Meet Me on Monday. Yes, that song was by the Mama and the Papas.

Jo-anne Blossy said...

Hi Clavs, I'll slowly be visiting everyone :) thanks for stopping by.

Hi Moe, you forgot about all the snakes. Although I hardly ever see them or spiders and the box jelly fish are only where the tropical weather is :D if you come visit me you will be safe lol
Victoria Day, sorry I don't know that one but if it gives you a public holiday I am all for it :D

Donna U, thanks for letting me know about the song :)

That's alot of yarn!
What would you make?

Julie said...

I am so with you on either kind of ice cream. Love it!

Jo-anne Blossy said...

Cindy, you should see my yarn stash. I have 4 plastic tubs full of the stuff :) I make all sorts of things like toys, clothes, blankets, slippers, scarves. It just depends on my mood :)

Julie, I love it too but not as much as my Angus! He would eat it all day every day if I let him!

Who isn't allergic to housework? I mean yesterday, I had to get into our closet. I began to move around bags of clothing. Seemingly innocent stuff, right? But, somehow the moving around must have stirred dust from somewhere, I had a sneezing fit and my nose began to drip-drip-drip. Grrrr! That's it, NO MORE HOUSEWORK for me. Okay...just teasing, but I wish I didn't have to do it all the same. lol

Unknown said...

Allergic to housework - you are a GENIUS!!! :-D I just KNEW it wasn't that I was LAZY... :-D

I totally did not know that bagels weren't popular in Australia...They're actually really good and super popular for breakfast. So popular there are bagel shops that sell mostly just bagels! What do you usually eat for breakfast?

Jo-anne Blossy said...

Cathy, thank you for making me laugh :)

Carole, we aren't lazy at all. We get the work done just a teeny bit slower than everyone else :D
With the bagels, I don't even think I have seen them in any supermarket or bakery.
Breakfast around here is usually some toast/cereal or a toasted English muffin or if we like cooking perhaps some eggs.
