While the rest of Victoria and all of South Australia are suffering from horrible weather, black outs and flooding we have been blessed enough to have escaped most of the rain.
Look at that blue sky! Brodz and I enjoyed the sunshine yesterday.
I just love looking at all the flowers when Brodie and I go for our walks.
I have no idea what these plants are but they look very pretty.
Brodie, Angus and I spotted some beautiful flowers while we were walking recently.
I think they are the same type of plant, I have no idea what it is but I just LOVE the colours.
I think some yarn in either colour would be delightful.
I'm in a flower making mood. It's spring time and with all the flowers in bloom about town I have felt inspired to make some pretty flowers.
I made the pansy above using the video from Crochet Geek, which I have added below. While I love how the pansy turned out I am not too sure about the hole in the middle. I feel that it detracts from the flower, but then again that's probably just me.
I'm going to make another pansy just because I can and because it is spring. I adore spring. It's my favourite time of year! Everything is just so pretty and colourful! I'm thinking of turning at least one of the flowers into a brooch. I've been researching ways to stiffen the yarn. I found an article over at Crochet Spot very helpful.
We've has such beautiful weather for the past few days. Spring has really arrived and I am loving it! Not that I didn't mind winter all that much but the slightly warmer weather has been so welcomed and so has that wonderful sunshine! It's the kind of weather that you want to enjoy. It almost feels a shame to be indoors when the weather has been so nice.
