Bullet Journal - New Stickers

I bought myself some new stickers from a shop on etsy called Princess Creations
These stickers are so cute! I especially love the penguins.
They remind me of Tux, the former Linux mascot.

I'm not sure when I will actually use these stickers in my bullet journal. I am still thinking of  monthly themes I might use in the future. I'm thinking perhaps the penguins might feature some time in late winter or early spring.

A Bucket Of Chocolate

Look at what Angus gave me .....

sadly it was not full of M&M's but he did share a few of them with me (~_~)

I actually wanted the little bucket so that I could use it as a yarn bowl. That way my yarn wont roll all over the floor and get dirty.

I was eyeing off some ceramic yarn bowls on etsy just like this one ...

Denim blue ceramic cat yarn bowl by ClayCrazyPottery

However I am sad to say it is not in my price range as were most of the others. What can I say I have expensive tastes. By the time I factor in the cost of the bowl and postage it would have cost me around a weeks worth of groceries.

I have looked to see if there was an Australian creator of these wonderful bowls and I am as yet unable to find one. I'll keep looking though. In the meantime I will just use my M&M bucket :D and add the yarn bowl to my wish list.

Gorgeous Artwork

I belong to a few yahoo groups where I get some pretty Incredimail email backgrounds. Every now and them someone sends some lovely pictures through to use as desktop backgrounds. This morning someone sent through these few paintings along with a few more by the same artist and I just fell in love with them.

I had no clue as to who the artist was other than the name Duffett written on the pictures. So I did a search and found out the name of the artist - Shelagh Duffett. Her artwork is so bright and delightful. I could just see her work on my walls. You should go and check out her work at her etsy shop - Alice in Paris. It's beautiful.

WIP - Spotlight Squares

It's been a while since I share my Spotlight Squares. I've even forgotten which squares these are (~_~) I do know that I am having a hard time trying to work out how to make the square for week 12. It's made on the diagonal and I just cannot seem to get my head around the pattern for that one.

Here's the link for the square for week 13

While I was searching for patterns yesterday I came across a pattern for the prettiest floral coasters ever!
How amazing do they look? I'm thinking that they would look even nicer on a scarf or a hat. What do you think? Pretty good aren't they!?!

By Doni from Whiskers & Wool
If you'd like the pattern click HERE
Doni even has her own etsy shop bearsy43 where she has some gorgeous patterns for sale.
There are some super cute ones too.

My First Treasury

I have created my first treasury on etsy :)
I had such a hard time only selecting a handful items. I could've added so many more things.

I love Doctor Who. We have been very fortunate to have the every episode being played from the newer stuff  beginning Series 1 with Christopher Eccleston through to Series 6 with Matt Smith being shown on ABC2 each week night. I have been in Whovian Heaven for the past few weeks! I can't wait for tonight's episode we've moved on to David Tennant :D

Recycled Clothing

I was doing some catching up on the blogs I have in my Google reader when I spotted this amazing Sweater Coat on Selvage Blog. The Sweater Coat is a creation by Katwise who recycles sweaters into new funky clothes.

Check out the video Katwise has created. I love the music she used & the colours on that coat! It's just amazing!

You can go to visit her etsy shop HERE and check out what stuff she has to offer (both patterns & coats)

Ut Oh .. I've been checking out etsy ...

I was reading a blog post by Eimearee's over at Playing with fi(b)re about these cute little stitch markers she bought from Weeones etsy shop. OMGosh they are so cute! I had to go and check out what other ones she had in her shop.

I fell in love with a set of super cute seal point Siamese kitties! I mean look how cute that photo is below. How could you not fall in love with something so tiny and adorable like that?

from Weeones etsy shop
How about these cute little galahs stitch markers? They are my favourite native bird. I even had a pet one once called Cody. Cody used to talk and talk. It adored Brodie. Sadly though Cody was far too clever to stay in his cage and he got out & flew away. I was devastated. It was the only bird I ever had that could talk.

How cute are these galahs!!
Weeones is very talented! I'm off to check out some more of these cute little stitch markers.
