Psoriasis affects more than just the skin. It doesn't discriminate.
It's impact can be widespread. It challenges your daily life. Your overall health and well being. Sadly it can be so overwhelming that it takes over everything and you can become very isolated.
I could share many stories about how it has impacted my life from then it first appeared at age 7 up until now. People can be so cruel due to their ignorance about this disease. When I am asked or stared at I try to educate as much as possible. In the hopes that the next person they meet with psoriasis doesn't feel like their existence is being questioned.
Knowledge is power!
