I got the pattern for this flower from Yarnspirations. It's actually a dishcloth pattern but I think it looks far too pretty to be used as a dishcloth. All that needs to be done is for the flower to be stitched onto the background squares. Then all I need to do is sew/crochet the squares together.
I'm still not happy with the way the blanket looks. I was thinking of taking it to Adelaide (to my Dad's place) and leaving it there. I am sure someone will use it there. Then I can make myself another one that actually looks nice.
