It's A Conspiracy?!?!

I swear that there is a secret male thing going on in this house .. either that or its a conspiracy! Just like there are 'secret sisterhood' things.

You see every time I think that we only have a small amount of dirty laundry sitting in the baskets it seems to multiply as if my magic. I know I put my stuff in the baskets on a regular basis .. that only leaves the males in the house. Do they secretly work together and decide to stuff ALL their dirty washing into the baskets at the same time? Do they just, by sheer accident, manage to place it in there at the same time? Or do they just bring the washing out when they run out of clean underwear & socks? I swear they plan secret weekly meetings and decide how they can slowly drive me crazy.

So today, after thinking I only had one perhaps two loads of washing to do I have now washed three. And to top things off I get tired of being the only one who puts a load of washing on. Its not like they don't know how to use the machine. Its not fancy, there are no extra buttons to push. Its push the dial down turn it to the setting you want and pull the dial out to turn the thing on. All the other settings are done, nothing to change. Just put in the laundry liquid, close the lid and away you go.

At least the washing is done. Its hung out on the line. Mark helped with that :) Thanks hon. Just wait until later though, when its all dry ... I wonder if I can convince someone to bring it in for me. The boys will do it some times. It makes up for the other stuff, well some of it.

It's definitely a conspiracy!!

My boys can't even get it IN the basket. It's RIGHT THERE and the dirty jeans are RIGHT NEXT to it??? GAH!! When I tell them to bring up all their clothes... and I get through ALL the loads... at 9pm 13yo will panic and say I need my gym clothes TOMORROW!!! "So get them out of the clean clothes..." "Their in my backpack... but I gotta' have'm!!" UGH!! I SHOULD stick to making him do it himself when he does that... But that would be his manipulation to stay up.

I have to ask, though... When your boys bring in the wash, do they lay it neatly in the basket or is everything a rumpled mess? LOL!!

I think you figured it out...I think they wait until they run out of everything, and they're standing there naked. Then they say: "I need some clothes washed. Better put it in the basket!" LOL

Holly, I hear you on that one. There have been plenty of times when the boys clothes are in a big pile next to the basket. I also know what you mean about the gym clothes and yes I am sure it is also some kind of way to try and stay up longer.

With the boys bringing the clothes inside, it can be a bit of a hit & miss thing. Sometimes without being asked they may fold the washing but most of the time its in a crumpled mess.

Poetess, I've even had the boys put things in the basket after a shower on to realise in the next day they want to wear it & they drag it out all stinky & smelly from the basket. Boys are gross that way lol.
