My New GP

Okay, I've made an appointment with my GP for tomorrow afternoon because I am not a happy little camper right now. I just got the results of my blood tests on Monday. There's good news and bad news.
The good news is that my liver function, electrolytes and something else all came back normal.
Now for the bad news. I failed my glucose tolerance test ..well not failed but it may as well have been a fail. I was told the normal range for a blood sugar level is 7.0 but mine was over 8.0. The nurse said that it was what she would call sitting on the fence. I don't want to site on the fence I might fall onto the wrong side!!
I must say I am worried about this. Especially since Mum had diabetes and my oldest brother, Wayne, has it. He's not doing too well. He is going blind, has lost a kidney and is now on dialysis because the remaining kidney is shot!

I've also made an appointment for No.1 son to see Dr.F as well. I've been concerned about his hearing. He seems to talk awfully loud A LOT and when he plays music and has headphones on I can hear the music clear across the room and thats when the television is on too, so there's a stack of background noise. It has to be loud for me to hear it over everything else. I would like Dr.F to check out his ears and perhaps send him off for an auditory test or something. It would be such an awful thing if No.1 has hearing loss too, especially on top of everything else.
