I just phoned Dad

I've just phoned Dad and let him know that we're moving. He said it was a shame that I didn't phone earlier to let him know because my sister Vicki had only left a short time ago and he could've told her then. Oh well never mind. I might email my niece, Kylie, and she can tell her Mum if my Dad doesn't.

Dad also told me that Auntie Jean had been visiting my cousin, Donny, in Geelong this past week. He was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago but it just recently came back but in his shoulder. They don't know just yet if they got it all but they are hoping that they have. Dad told Auntie Jean that we're moving and that we're going into a 2 bedroom place so she may not be able to come over for Christmas this year like she had hoped but I think she may rather see Donny than come here. Who knows we may even be able to go to Geelong to visit her when she is over next time. It's worth a thought anyway.
Dad also said Auntie Bette is having a hip replacement op next week. She's hoping all goes well because she wants to get back into playing golf. She hasn't played for a few years and the last time she did she won the competition at the age of 79. She's in her early 80's now. So I do hope it all goes well for her.
